Research & Development
Our commitment to safety, and to deliver a sustainable solution to battery recycling means that we are constantly looking at new and innovative ways to ensure our recycling processes are leading edge.
Ecobatt has been in development for over three years and has concentrated on studying technologies from around the world. Our management team visited over 30 international battery recycling plants drawing on their experiences to develop a state-of-the-art battery recycling plant which is both safe and efficient. No expense has been spared. Innovation is a key driver in our business as we look to consolidate our position as the market leader in safety and research of battery recycling.
The group’s new laboratory is set up to facilitate checks and testing on site so that the most effective outcomes for recycled materials and metals can be achieved, with speedy feedback and turnaround of results.
Ecobatt take their environmental impact seriously with a comprehensive strategy towards zero emissions from their Victorian plant and head office. A range of energy saving techniques, including extensive use of solar panels, go back into a battery storage system, that power charging stations, for use on the company’s fleet of electric vehicles. Recycled water programs ensure the company’s carbon footprint is optimized and illustrate a commitment to sound environmental management.
